Our Story

Bystronic Laser was founded in 2004 by a team of experienced laser engineers who believed the market needed more reliable, service-oriented equipment suppliers. At that time, many manufacturers struggled with machines that performed well in showrooms but faltered under real production demands.

We built our company on a simple principle: every machine that leaves our factory should perform as well on day 1,000 as it does on day 1. This means selecting premium components from proven suppliers, testing every unit under production conditions before shipping, and standing behind our products with genuine after-sales support.

Over 22 years, this approach has earned us the trust of manufacturers in 65+ countries. We do not claim to be the cheapest option, and we are transparent about the fact that our machines are built in China. What we do promise is consistent quality, honest specifications, and a support team that answers when you call.

Quality Assurance Process

Every Bystronic Laser machine goes through a multi-stage quality verification process before shipment:

  1. Incoming inspection: All critical components are tested upon arrival. Laser sources undergo full power verification; mechanical components are measured against tolerance specifications.
  2. Assembly quality gates: Seven checkpoint inspections during the assembly process, documented with photos and measurements.
  3. Production cutting test: Every machine runs a standardized cutting program on multiple material types and thicknesses. Cut samples are measured for dimensional accuracy, edge roughness, and taper.
  4. 72-hour burn-in: Each machine runs continuously for 72 hours to identify any intermittent issues before shipping.
  5. Pre-shipment customer inspection: Customers or their agents are welcome to inspect the machine in our factory before we pack and ship.

We are transparent about the fact that this process adds cost and time. But the machines that arrive at your facility work right the first time, and that matters more than saving a few days on delivery.
